Solid waste facility fire

Fire broke out Saturday night inside a building in part of the Oconee solid waste complex in Seneca.  Chief Richie Caudill says household garbage caught fire in a building used to compact garbage.  No one was hurt.  Several fire departments assisted Seneca by shutting water.  Fire damage was confined to the trash compact building.
