Crime investigation on the Westminster Highway

Near Walhalla this morning, Oconee sheriff’s officers started an investigation into what appears to have been a car-break-in.  Three squad cars were parked at a Westminster Highway address not far from WGOG.  According to sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Watt, one person was placed in custody and there were indications that someone may have tried to get into the home.
