At week’s end, the Oconee student COVID numbers

A Hamilton Career student from West-Oak High has been added to the list of Oconee students confirmed to have COVID-19.  This afternoon the school district is staying the course.  Superintendent Thorsland said, “Our current plan is to continue with what we have done for the first four weeks.”  That is giving students the option of in-class academics or at home studies.  In four weeks of the new school year, figures from Thorsland, show a total of 28 students with COVID.  “Many are recovered and back in school,” he added. Twenty-eight is a small number compared to the 7,900 taking face-to-face learning, but a number that’s being watched.
