At stake, a one-half-million-dollar contract

In a special meeting tomorrow, a large Sewer South contract will hang in the balance. Under action items, the Joint Regional Sewer Authority board of commissioners will consider a $474,500 contract for the civil engineering company Davis and Floyd.  For that sum, Davis and Floyd would be obligated for bidding, construction, and inspection services for Sewer South Phase II.  It’s a project to bring piped sewer to extreme southern Oconee–particularly Oconee’s stretch of I-85.
