At least for now, no mask mandate at Clemson

The Clemson City Council decided this week against ordering a mask mandate in their city, but the council encourages the public—even those fully vaccinated—to wear masks indoors and in public.  However, starting today, masks are required to enter all city buildings.  CATbus will continue to follow federal guidelines requiring masks on the buses.  Free tests are available at Nettles Park for those with symptoms, who’ve been exposed, or simply want to monitor by tests.  Clemson is running a vaccination clinic at the Clemson United Methodist Church.  By Friday last week, Pickens County was incurring a high rate of transmission of COVID-19.
