At last, property for a new Seneca school

At their meeting Monday, Oconee school trustees appear primed to act on property to build the replacement Seneca Middle School. The item is on the agenda for the open part of the board’s March work session–a departure from several recent meetings where it was reserved for private deliberations.  It was nearly 13 months ago that the school district targeted 40 acres along the Wells Highway.  But a deal with three sets of property owners never was consummated.
