As yet, no decision about school tomorrow

By early afternoon, there had been no decision on whether Oconee public schools will resume tomorrow–either at regular time or on delay.  School district personnel have begun to drive selected roads in the county to determine their condition.  Dangerous black ice could be a factor, if temperatures drop to the point that pavements are covered by an invisible freeze.  Ideally, says the district’s Steve Hanvey, the decision about tomorrow will be made tonight to allow everyone to better prepare.  But it’s possible the decision could come in the morning, just before the buses are scheduled to roll.
