Arrest made in Westminster shooting

The Westminster police say one young man has been arrested, a second young man is being sought, in the continuing investigation of gunfire last week on a street corner.  At Butler and Johnson streets on April 12, a 24-year old man was wounded.  Chief Rory Jones says 19-year old Kenneth Rivadeneira was arrested yesterday and charged with assault and battery by a mob second degree.  According to the arrest warrant, the victim is left with permanent disfigurement.  His wound was to the lower left leg, but the arrest warrant also shows left eye cut and major bruising to the left eye.  A second suspect, an 18-year old male, was still being sought yesterday afternoon.
