Arrest made in three-month old business burglary

A 22-year old man from the Spartanburg County town of Inman has been arrested and charged in Oconee County in an Oakway business burglary that occurred three months ago. Law enforcement records today identified the man arrested as Jerred Roger Rhymer. He’s charged with burglary first degree and grand larceny. The Oconee Sheriff’s Office began investigating April 12 when a Dodge truck and an assortment of tools were stolen from a landscaping business on Qualls Lane near the Oakway Dollar General. Tools taken included chainsaws and weedeaters.
