Arrest made after Saturday South Union accident

One of the two drivers in a Saturday motor vehicle accident in the South Union Community has been cited by the highway patrol with hit and run with great bodily injury.  Magistrate Blake Norton said the state patrol also cited Bradley Thomas Barnett, 25, of E. Richfield Drive, Westminster with felony driving under the influence bodily injury.  From the accident scene, the second driver involved wound up on a helicopter flight for medical attention.  Norton said that driver suffered multiple fractures.  For several hours Saturday night, s. highway 11 traffic near the Greer Road was detoured.  That detour also affected people leaving the Fendley reunion held at the South Union Baptist Church.
