Arrest in three-month old Seneca investigation

A Seneca man’s 32nd birthday on Saturday proved to be an unlucky occasion.  Saturday was the day that Marcus Oneal Craig was arrested by the Seneca police in an investigation that dated back three months to shots fired in the area of a 100 S. Walnut Street convenience store.  Arrest warrants from the police department show Craig charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting at a man during an altercation on the afternoon of March 17.  In their investigation, the police say they found a .22 shell casing on the sidewalk in front of the store.  A Seneca police officer rendezvoused Saturday with Anderson County deputies at the Townville Post Office.  There, the Anderson officers turned Craig over to the custody of the Seneca police.
