Another missing Oconeean

A man near Salem has been missing for three weeks, even though a family member has tried text and telephone messages.  The Oconee Sheriff’s Office would like the public’s help to locate William Sidney Brown, whose disappearance was reported to the office yesterday.  Brown is 43 years old, 6’2”, hazel eyes, brown hair and may be in a blue 2003 Honda Accord with a South Carolina tag of 1-2-8-6-J-N.  It could be that Brown has left the state.  His information has been entered into the database of the National Crimes Information Center.  If you have any information on the whereabouts of William Sidney Brown, you are asked to contact Crimestoppers or call the sheriff’s office at 864/638-4111.  All information to Crimestoppers is kept confidential.  If your information pans out and leads to finding Brown, you could be eligible for a cash reward. Master Deputy Jimmy Watt said, “William does not have any outstanding arrest warrants with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office nor are we seeking him on criminal charges.  We are seeking information on his whereabouts.”
