Annual Black History Tea is Virtual This Year

The Oconee NAACP Chapter’s annual Black History Tea, a luncheon held each year in the Seneca Family Life Institute’s Auditorium, will be a virtual event this year. The event will be streamed live via Zoom on Sunday, organizers said. Mayor Dan Alexander, Police Chief Casey Bowling, City Administrator Scott Moulder and Council Member Rev. WC Honeycutt are scheduled to be panelists for a discussion moderated by Erica Wearing. For more information, you can contact the Oconee NAACP.
