Annie Thrift
Seneca – Annie Lou “Mimi” Wood Thrift, 92, wife of Rufus Thrift, passed away on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023 at Foothills Assisted Living.
Born May 17th, 1931, in Anderson, South Carolina, Annie was the daughter of the late Lester and Mamie Fuller Wood. Annie was retired from the textiles industry, and was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church.
Annie is survived by her loving husband, Rufus Thrift; brother, Jesse Wood of Fair Play; and sisters, Liz Coker of Greenwood; granddaughter, Tara Donald Harbin; three great grandchildren, Cody Haulbrooks, Melanie Harbin, and Tiffany Harbin; four great great-grandchildren, Daniella Harbin, Braelyn Wingard, Baylor Haulbrooks and Jaxtyn Harbin.
In addition to her parents, Annie is preceded in death by her daughter, Hellen Lee and son, Russell Wayne Haulbrooks; brother, L.C. Wood; sister, Marie McWhorter; and a grandson, Jeffrey Haulbrooks.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm, Monday, June 26th, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends, 1:00 – 3:00 pm, Monday, June 26th, 2023 prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
