Annette Johnson

Townville- Annette Smith Johnson, 68, wife of the late John Henry Johnson, passed away Friday, March 4th, 2022 at her residence.

 

Born in Oconee County, Annette was the daughter of the late Gentry P. Smith and Ruby Smith.  Annette worked as supervisor of housekeeping at Foxwood Hills Resort and was a dedicated homemaker. Annette had a great passion for gardening, playing bingo, and enjoy spending time at Time Drive In, with the love of her life, John Henry Johnson.

 

Annette is survived by her sons, James Johnson of Iva,  Don Johnson (Becky) of Townville; daughters, Samantha Bass (John) of Anderson, Linda Johnson of Seneca, Aryanna Fox of Townville; brothers, Ronnie Smith of Oakway and Frank Smith of Oakway; sisters, Doris Worley of Townville, and “Sis” of Seneca; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and two on the way; and two great greatgrandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, Annette is preceded in death by a grandson, Marvin Miller; daughter in-law, Susan Johnson; sisters, Bobbie Jean Watkins, Debra Weeks, Patricia Holbrooks, and Helen Jenkins.

 

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm, Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
