Ann Bennett

Seneca – Ann Louise Bennett, 72, wife of Kenneth “Ken” R. Bennett, passed away on Saturday, March 18th, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

 

Born February 21st, 1951, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Ann was the daughter of the late Leo and Beulah Worth Munger. Ann previously lived in Elizabeth, Roselle Park, Roselle and Hillsborough, New Jersey before moving to Seneca, South Carolina.  Ann was an executive secretary for the Salvation Army in New Jersey, while working in donor relations and after moving to South Carolina worked with the Salvation Army in the outreach and evangelistic programs.  Ann was also known for her work while in New Jersey with Hospice as a bereavement coordinator. She was an active member of Fairview Community Church in West Union, South Carolina, a longtime member of The Salvation Army Church in New Jersey and South Carolina, and also attended Community Bible Study in Clemson.

 

Ann is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth “Ken” R. Bennett; her daughters, Lisa A. Moore (Shannon) of Belton, South Carolina and Kristin R. Bennett of Seneca, South Carolina; brother, Stephen Munger of Gayle’s Ferry, Connecticut; and a sister, Irene Baker of Liberty, South Carolina; but the love of her life was her grandchildren, Kenny French of Westminster and Sophie Davis of Seneca.

 

In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her brother, Leo Paul Munger.

 

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Fairview Community Church of West Union.
