Anderson man charged with Oconee crimes

An Anderson County man was being held in the Oconee jail, under a combined $80 thousand surety bond. Jason Andrew Tomsha of the Abbeville Highway was arrested Friday on outstanding warrants alleging he committed crimes during October last year in Oconee County. According to an announcement by the Sheriff’s Office, the 45-year old Tomsha has been charged with burglary, larceny and malicious injury to property as part of break-ins to a storage facility on the Shiloh Road near Seneca. He is accused of breaking into six storage buildings at All Safe Storage and stealing, among other items, coaxial cable, household items, a computer, and jewelry. Tomsha further faces charges of I-D fraud and shoplifting at Seneca’s Wal-Mart.
