Allene Bearden
Westminster – Allene Carter Bearden, 90, wife of the late James “Jim” Mann Bearden, passed away on Thursday, March 7th, 2024, at Lila Doyle Post-Acute.
Born September 5th, 1933, in Westminster, South Carolina, Allene was the daughter of the late Dan and Sarah Denny Carter. Allene was a CNA and later retired from Becton Dickson. Allene was an amazing cook, sassy, fashionable, and spunky. Allene was a member of Westminster Wesleyan Church, a Christian lady that loved and supported her family.
Allene is survived by her granddaughter, who was raised in the home, Heather McCutcheon (David), a daughter, Beverly Estaque (the late Brett); six grandchildren, Sarah Estaque, Raiyna Bearden, Alison Lee (Donnie), Jennifer Hartung (Patrick), Cameron Whitman; and twelve great grandchildren.
Allene is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sons, Gary Hamby, Jamie Bearden; three brothers; five sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 11th, 2024 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with a private family entombment to follow at Oconee Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, Monday, March 11th, 2024, prior to the service, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
