Alice Kunkel

 

Alice A. Kunkel (nee Tabb), age 91, wife of the late Richard J. “Dick” Kunkel, passed away on April 20, 2024, at home surrounded by family.

 

Born on April 30, 1932 in Cincinnati, OH to parents Elmer Lamar and Lavina Schumacher Tabb.  Alice was a homemaker and devoted mother. She loved the Lord, her church and her wonderful friends.  She enjoyed playing and teaching mahjong to anyone that wanted to learn. Alice was known for her “AK” sense of humor and frequently left people laughing.

 

She is survived by her children Mary (Tony) Miller, JoAnne (Steve) Baker, Robert (Kim) Kunkel, James Kunkel, Linda Wolfe and Susan (Chuck) Ferrell, loving sister to the late Donald Joseph Tabb, survived by 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. 

 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Friday, April 26^th, 2024 from St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church of Seneca, with Father Bill Hearn presiding.

 

The family is at their respective homes.
