Adult Education program gets a new home this summer

Oconee County’s adult education program is looking toward a new year.  Its director, Steve Moore, is announcing that the program will establish a new home when it re-locates July 14 to a new campus–the former Career Center in Bountyland, which has been renamed the Bountyland Educational Campus.  Classes are scheduled to begin August 17.  Those persons who do not have a high school diploma or an equivalency diploma are encouraged to register for classes the week of August 10, between 9 am, and 2 pm.  While registering, you can also apply for scholarship opportunities.  During the adult education year, daycare will be offered to adult ed parents for children eight weeks old to four years old.
