A new health clinic
A federally chartered health clinic arrived in Westminster on Friday afternoon when the board of directors of the Rosa Clark Health Center showed off their satellite facility on E. Main Street. A number of prominent city officials were on hand for a combination open house/drop-in in what used to be a place of worship behind the county magistrate’s office. In its efforts to further reach Oconee County residents, Rosa Clark commissioned the conversion of a former church into one of its new healthcare facilities that operates on a sliding scale of charges. According to the Rev. Randy Keasler, vice president of the Rosa Clark board, the next expansion will be Walhalla, in a new facility to be built behind Zaxby’s on SC 28, Blue Ridge Boulevard.
