A message from the Oconee Chamber of Commerce

As we continue to closely monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we want to be certain that the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce is doing everything we can to help keep our members and our community be safe during these incredibly challenging times. As always, protecting the health and well-being of our members and the entire community is our top priority. At the moment, the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce is working remotely and practicing social distancing, though we remain fully operational. We are working tirelessly to support all of our members during these uncertain times and will continue to do so. We highly encourage each of you (as we are) to closely follow the precautionary recommendations as set out by the CDC, DHEC and Governor McMaster et al. As you may already know, we at the Chamber have postposed all events and gathers until otherwise advised to do so. At this time, we are working toward creating new networking opportunities while abiding by the precautions and will let you know as soon as we have them ready. With your help, those new and creative opportunities will hopefully generate a quick recovery. Though many of our businesses are not open in the traditional sense, let’s remember that we are still open and ready for business. We will continue to work, educate and continue to prosper, while helping to flatten the curve. In an effort to assist the entire community, let’s also remember to support EVERY business and let others know that we are here for them. There are many ways to do this in spite of social distancing.
