A first for Streetscape

A first for Walhalla Streetscape has been achieved. Scott Parris, utilities director, reports that new water service was established to Martha’s Marketplace Café late yesterday, and additional water connections are to be set today along the same section of Main Street. It means water is being funneled in that section of the downtown in a new eight-inch water line, replacing a line from 1923.
