A 5″ rainfall over two days at Seneca

By 3:45 yesterday afternoon, the rain gauge at the Coneross Wastewater Treatment Plant on Seneca’s southern end had registered 2.89” of rain for the day.  Taken with 2.09” Monday, a 36-hour measurement there reached five inches.  The machinery at the county treatment plant was performing in normal fashion, according to the sewer authority’s Chris Eleazer.  In the past, heavy rains would cause problems for the system’s lift stations and holding facilities, but not this time.
