Kidnapping and domestic violence investigation

A Seneca man was denied bond yesterday and remains in custody facing multiple charges.  Oconee Sheriff’s Office says it started an investigation Friday last week of domestic violence on Davis Creek Road, near 123.  The following charges were placed against Demarcus Shawntez Taylor:  kidnapping, domestic violence second degree, and assault and battery third degree.  According to the sheriff’s office, the Seneca police obtained a warrant charging 29-year old Taylor with stalking.  At the Davis Creek Road location, a deputy spoke with Taylor’s former girlfriend and a third party who, according to the sheriff’s office, tried to defend the former girlfriend.
