What might the Andron brothers have said?
Brothers Michael and Sandy Andron are names from an Oconee past who were associated with the formation of a county community theatre in the 1970s. Staged plays originated from Kenneth Richardson’s picture show movie house on Seneca’s N. 1st Street. A guess is that the Androns would approve if they knew today that Oconee Community Theatre is adding a comedy component. A night for comedies as was explained during a ribbon-cutting this week at the theatre’s modern-day location, a former school building in the Utica community. Julian Davis was there, and he recalled that as a Walhalla High student, he and his classmates made field trips to the theatre.
