What might keep Christenbury up at night

The chief of the Corinth-Shiloh Volunteer Fire Department worries that the special tax district proposition could become a casualty of the presidential election.  At a community meeting Saturday at the fire station, Chief Kevin Christenbury conceded that it’s possible an electorate mostly concerned about who will be the next president might take a negative stance on creating a special tax district inside the fire station coverage area.  Nevertheless, Christenbury takes a positive attitude that the eligible voters will see the need to accept additional taxes to pay for full-time fire fighters, to supplement the corps of volunteer fire fighters.
