Domestic violence call leads to man’s arrest

A 38-year-old man near Seneca has been arrested by Oconee Sheriff’s Office on charges of kidnapping and domestic violence first degree.   Kerry Orlando Hollins allegedly assaulted a female last weekend at his Bountyland apartment home and seized her phone, preventing her from calling for help. According to the domestic violence arrest warrant, Hollins allegedly punched the female and used a clothes iron to burn parts of her body.  She was seen at the hospital.  A deputy started the investigation after being called to the hospital, responding to reports of a domestic violence incident.
