High school teacher’s death

The following is a Facebook post by Seneca High School:

“It is with deep sadness that we share that Seneca High School was made aware this morning of the death of a faculty member.  Students were told of the news during second block and counselors were made available to any student in need.  We would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for the family of our teacher and for our school community.  No further details are available at this time.  If your student communicates they are struggling, you are welcome to reach out to us and we can connect with counselors.  All afternoon events will be canceled today as our community processes this tragic news.  We were on an extended Yellow this morning while we notified our faculty and staff.  The police presence on campus was for a preplanned SRO meeting, and not related to today’s event.  Although this is a difficult time for our Bobcat family, we will work through this together.  As always, we appreciate the love and support of the community.”
