Will Oconee appeal?

In response to a published story suggesting Oconee might appeal the temporary injunction against the use of $25 million in bond money, 101.7/WGOG NEWS yesterday put the appeal question to Amanda Brock.  The county administrator replied, “I don’t have an answer at this time.”  The plaintiffs in South Carolina Public Interest Foundation and others have won that temporary injunction, in accord with a ruling by 10th Circuit Judge McIntosh.  Judge Lawton McIntosh further directed that the dispute be extradited for trial. As the judge sees it, the Oconee $25 million bond issue is not about the selling of the bonds, but rather the use of the bond money.
