Mayor Dan promotes the Ride-to-Work Ministry

After each Seneca city council member had the chance to sound off on the end of bus passenger service, it felt as if everyone in the meeting room was looking at Mayor Dan Alexander for his take — considering the long-time mayor of Oconee’s largest municipality has been the leading advocate for free bus rides.  And Alexander rewarded them with his thoughts.  The mayor is one of “CAT”s riders and he shared a story about a fellow rider who rode the bus every work day to Clemson.  The mayor and council members are hopeful that something else can come to the fore to take up some of the slack.  Alexander touts the Ride-to-Work Ministry as a possible solution for those who need to get to their jobs but have no other transportation.
