A second Trump boat parade on Keowee

The organizer says a parade of boats next month on Lake Keowee will help promote the candidacy of Republican nominee for President Donald Trump.  It’s also, says Seneca area resident Candy Bianco, a way to fly the colors and promote democracy.  Bianco took part in the 2020 lake boat parade for Trump; this time, she’s taken it on herself to organize.  Boaters who support Trump are invited to position their boats at the tip of South Cove for the excursion northward on the lake.  The date is 11 o’clock Saturday morning, August 24, with a rain date the next day at 1:30 pm.  Four years ago, the parade attracted an estimated 800 boats.
