Ollie Mabel Carter Grant
Walhalla, SC — Ollie Mabel Carter Grant, 96, wife of the late Walter Addis “Buddy” Grant, of 24 Joy Circle, Walhalla, SC, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at her home.
A native of Oconee County, SC, Mrs. Grant was the daughter of the late Clifton Trimmier Carter and Ollie Malissa Lee. She retired from the US Department of Agriculture and was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Grant is survived by nieces: Karen Kapp (Fred) of Birmingham, AL, Deborah Brucker (Hank) of Manhattan, KS, Pam Scott (Randy), Jenny Harris, of Liberty SC; nephews: Larry Brandt (Carol) of West Union, SC, Mike Bond (Lynette) of Dallas, TX, Kenny Rollins (Tammy) of Greenville, SC, and Steve Hunt, of Seneca, SC.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by her brothers: Hugh Carter, Clyde Carter, Curtis Carter, and Crayton Carter; sisters: Loma Brandt, Elma Suttles, Mary Dean, Ruth Bond, Peggy Rollins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December, 21st 2022 at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December, 21, 2022 prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
