Ralph Turpin

Salem- Ralph Wayne Turpin, 81, husband of Faye Fisher Turpin, passed away on Friday, October 14th, 2022 at his residence.

 

Born in Clayton, Georgia, Ralph was the son of the late Gypsy Berry Turpin and Ada Cardellia Wilbanks Turpin. Ralph was retired from the textiles industry and was a landscaper. Ralph had a great love for fishing, gardening, cooking his famous BBQ, and was known for growing vegetables and sharing with his family and friends.  

 

Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, Faye Fisher Turpin of 57 years; children, Ralph Edwin Turpin of Salem and Rhonda Lynn Morton (the late Steve) of Walhalla; brothers, Willard Turpin (Donna), Dale Turpin (the late Ann), Mac Turpin; sisters, Sue Ward (Joe), Shirley Gibson; six grandchildren, Dusty, Beth, Lindsay, Ryan, Cher, and John; five great grandchildren, Emerald, Alexa, Mason, Allison, and Gabriel; daughter in law, Cindy Denise Turpin; sister in laws, Marie Turpin, Louise Turpin and Carolyn Turpin.

 

In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by an infant son, Randall Scott Turpin, a son Ronald Keith Turpin; a grandson, Wayne Turpin; brothers, Archie Fred Turpin, Morris Turpin and Jim Turpin; a sister, Mell Turpin.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Boones Creek Baptist Church at a later date.
