Clemson Eye’s vision for Oconee

Ground beside 123, the Seneca-Clemson corridor, is shaping up this afternoon to be a future expansion home of the vision care practice Clemson Eye.  The practice with existing locations in Clemson, Greenville, and Simpsonville has discovered that many of its patients are Oconee County residents.  In that sense, says CEO Mary Lou Parisi, it’s a natural to have an Oconee County location.  This one will be in Union Station, the Pete Dimopolous stretch of land that currently is home to a pair of dental offices.  A ceremonial ground break attracted a crowd of well-wishers. A number of passing motorists, seeing the goings-on, blew their horns in a sign of support.  Provided Clemson Eye obtains state permits, this facility could become the first place in Oconee where plastic surgery and cataract surgeries are done, officials tell 101.7/WGOG NEWS.  General contractor is the Trehel Corporation.
