Return Community property searched, four arrests made

Oconee sheriff’s officers make a discovery at a home in the Return Community near Seneca. Four people were arrested there Thursday after a search produced what the Sheriff’s Office says was stolen property. Four men were arrested: Patrick Cole Stancil, 22 years old; John David Stancil, 46; Dustin David Stancil, 24; and Steven Vancelee Lunceford, 49. The Sheriff’s Office gave this account of what happened at 571 Yellow Pine Drive near Return Church Road: “The search warrant was obtained as a result of an ongoing investigation into stolen property. When deputies arrived on scene to execute the warrant, they discovered a stolen trailer, guns, vehicles, and an ATV. Also, one individual arrested had narcotics and a firearm on his person.”
