Late morning wreck ties up 123 Bypass westbound traffic

Part of the westbound lanes on the Seneca 123 By-Pass were detoured late this morning after the collision of a dump truck and a van that had stopped in one of the travel lanes to assist the driver of a disabled third vehicle. The police say no one was hurt. According to Capt. B-J McClure, the dump truck hit the bumper of the van, and the truck wound in a 45-degree angle up the hill next to the overhead bridge.
