4,000 South Carolina COVID cases counted in 24 hrs.

Some big numbers popped out on this afternoon’s COVID-19 numbers from South Carolina DHEC.  On Wednesday, the latest count day, health officials counted 4,007 new confirmed cases.  Of that 4,000 number, there were 80 in Oconee County; 177 in Pickens County; and 180 in Anderson County.  New, additional deaths across the state were 25, including one in Oconee County and four in Pickens County.  Of 36,682 test results received, the positivity was 14.5%.
