35% of Oconeeans fully vaccinated

If you come across a group of 15 Oconeeans, you can expect that some five of them are fully vaccinated.  Now that CDC has declared the COVID-19 Delta variant the pre-dominant COVID virus in the country, the website for the Centers for Disease Control shows 35% of Oconeeans are fully vaccinated and 39% have had at least one dose.  As the result of numbers published yesterday afternoon, Oconee is regarded as a county in which there are substantial infections.  Below 40% vaccinations are considered not enough.  Yet, according to the CDC tracking page, bordering Franklin County, Georgia enjoys only 7.7% of its population as fully vaccinated.
