13-year old boy remains missing

Oconee deputies have followed tips this morning to try to find a boy missing since yesterday afternoon from the Collins Children’s Home near Seneca. Tristan Freeman 13 years old, walked away from the home in the Bountyland Community and was in a pair of light gray shorts, a white tank top shirt, unknown type of shoes and color. He’s 5’2” and about 100 pounds. Tristan has blond hair and blue eyes. His identification information has been placed into the National Crime Information Center database. The area around the Children’s home was checked but Tristan was not located. Deputies also deployed the Sheriff’s Office drone and checked businesses and storage buildings. A reverse 911 call was made to residents within a 10 mile radius of the Collins Children’s Home. Units from Oconee County Emergency Services also assisted deputies in their search for Tristan.
