123 ByPass accident eastbound

The police in Seneca say the drivers of two SUVs and no one at Wendy’s on the By-Pass were hurt this afternoon in an accident that occurred on the eastbound lanes, and forced motorists headed east to detour onto Professional Park Drive.  A green SUV wound up across both eastbound lanes and turned around in the wrong direction, while the police say a black SUV came to rest on Wendy’s property with the front end against the front glass wall of the dining area.  The indoor dining area was open at the time, but there were no customers in that immediate area.  The police gave this further account:  “The collision investigation determined that the black GMC had been traveling east on Bypass 123 in the inside lane when the green Ford pulled into the highway from the parking lot of the BB-and-T bank in an attempt to make a left turn to travel west….Both drivers were listed in the traffic collision as having contributed to the cause of the collision, due to the driver of the Ford failing to yield the right of way and the driver of the GMC driving too fast for conditions.”
