10′ fall at the landfill

An unloading mishap yesterday morning at the Oconee County Landfill near Seneca.  A customer got a little too close to the hole into which he had just unloaded debris from  his pickup truck and fell a distance of about 10 feet.  He required some bandages.  Swain Stihl, solid waste manager, stresses the importance of customers paying close attention to the on-duty landfill monitor when backing up trucks to unload their debris.
