$1 million downtown Seneca property sale

Only one action by Seneca City Council engendered applause last night in the meeting room audience.  There was applause when Ronnie O’Kelley, the mayor pro-tem, remarked that by selling two large pieces of the former Harper’s 5&10 property, good things are in store for the city.  The city is to receive $1 million dollars for the sale of buildings A and B to a Seneca-based LLC, which Councilman Dana Moore predicts clears the way for “a family-oriented entertainment complex” in the heart of the downtown.
