Wreck takes life of Anderson police officer

According to reports, a rural Anderson County accident this morning took the life of an Anderson police officer.  The accident occurred shortly after 6 this morning; by the 9 o’clock hour the coroner had yet to identify the fatality.  The accident scene was SC 24 in the vicinity of the double bridges over Lake Hartwell.
