Who fires the first volley in 2018 Seneca politics?

If you are a Seneca resident with designs on serving your city government, the time to start to put up or shut up is tomorrow.  At the noon hour tomorrow, the office of Oconee Elections in Walhalla will open its books for candidates in Seneca’s 2018 election.  Four seats on the eight-member city council are available in the March 13 election.  The following seats are up:  those held by Scott Durham, Stuart Pohl, Denise Rozman, and Joel Ward.  All four are eligible to offer for new four-year terms.  The candidate qualifying period expires at noon January 8.
