What’s the right pay for the West Union mayor and council?

At their meeting next week, the West Union mayor and town council will consider first reading of an ordinance to set compensation for the elected body.  Mayor and council jobs are part time in the small Oconee County town.  The September meeting of the West Union Town Council will be Tuesday evening at the Town Hall.
