What’s brewing with Oconee County Council?

Here’s some of what’s awaiting Oconee County fathers when they sit down for their regular third Tuesday meeting of the month next week.  The county council is to receive a presentation by Chase Kuhlman, coordinator of the Walhalla Municipal Swimming Pool.  Part of Tuesday night’s meeting will be devoted to a public hearing on an ordinance to repeal 2021-14 which requires individuals to wear face coverings in facilities owned and operated by Oconee County government.  The agenda also calls for consideration and discussion of the “Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund.”  Second reading is scheduled Tuesday on an ordinance article captioned “Protection of Historical Memorials.” The council meets at 6 Tuesday night at Pine Street.
