Utica street incident leads to arrest

A street corner stabbing in the Utica Community near Seneca led to a Thanksgiving week arrest of a woman by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say Breann Gloria Gladney of Sloan Street is accused of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. An arrest warrant signed by investigator David McMahan alleges 27-year old Gladney used a sharp-edged instrument to try to cause the death of Heather Louise Haymon. The incident is alleged to have occurred October 24 at the corner of Ames and Jamerson streets.
