Unmasking all that surveying

At least as far as city officials know, there’s no clear explanation for what all that recently surveying at and near Seneca’s east end intersection – where highways 123 and SC 130 and EN 1st Street come together at a busy traffic light intersection.  What the state DOT has in mind was the question that Councilman Ernest Riley put to city administrators last night at city hall.  But neither Scott Moulder, administrator, nor assistant Ryan Thomas, said they’ve heard anything from the highway department.  Riley says the heavily-traveled intersection has been talked about during recent meeting of the board of South Carolina A-COG and he believes it’s part of a future re-paving project there. The councilman is a member of the board of the regional government service agency.  Riley went on to say east end is “a dangerous intersection anytime.”
