Two additional school classes sent home

South Carolina DHEC has confirmed 586 new confirmed COVID cases, along with two more deaths.  And Oconee’s public schools are making adjustments.  At last night’s trustees’ meeting, Superintendent Dr. Michael Thorsland announced two additional classes have been sent home.  According to the district’s virus tracking page, a class of Seneca Northside second graders has a return date of November 23; a self-contained Ravenel class may return November 19.  The arrival of additional plexi-glass shields is expected to enhance safety for some of the district’s early grade pupils.
